Well, Abbi started her first day of preschool yesterday and LOVED it!! YEAH.
She did so well. Eric, Kati and I took her in the morning and walked her to class. We got her settled in (well, she settled herself and Eric and I looked on as if waiting for her to ask us to stay or something). We stood and talked to the teacher a while and I took some more pictures. After a few minutes she came over and made it clear that we needed to leave! I was shocked, but happy at the same time. I made it through the whole day without a tear and she did too.
After school Kati, Caleb (our friends baby that I watch sometimes) went to pick her up and then took her to Mickey D's for lunch. We went and met Eric at work and ate with him. She was full of conversation about her day and what all they did in class. She cannot wait to go back on Thursday!
Kati was great, too! She ruled the roost while big sister was at school. We thought that she would be lost without Abbi, but she wasn't:). Her and Caleb played and had a good time while Abbi was away. But, she was SO glad when we went to pick big sis up. Abbi got lots of hugs and kisses from Kati.
Eric and I are doing well, too. Eric is staying busy working at the PD and then with the flooring business. He is currently working on a big tile job and it is taking up a lot of his time, but it looks GREAT. He is installing a custom slate tile shower and I LOVE IT!! I am trying to talk him in to putting one in on the second floor of the house when we finish it out.
I am currently getting ready to go head first in to my new job. I have finished my classes and am now studying for my state license exam. I am planning on taking the exam on Saturday...wish me luck:)!
